What a week last week was!
The following is an update from the trail. It was fun, eventful, and exhausting.
Scott and the team were out at several events. We were able to get some good visibility to the voters of the city of Conway.
Tuesday afternoon we hopped in a couple of cars and joined the Faulkner County Fair Parade in downtown Conway.
We had a great team joining us with signs and banners and even a little dancing from Scott himself.
That night, Scott and Lisa went over to the County Fair and met voters throughout the evening.
Scott and his volunteers followed that each night of the fair. We were able to enjoy corn dogs, roasted pecans and much, much more.
The weekend rush
Saturday, Scott participated in work with the Arkansas Dream Center as they tackled the Marguerite Vann Elementary work day.
As if that wasn’t enough, Scott also joined his team to cheer on those who were racing in a Beauty and Beast 5K run.
Scott wrapped up the day by hanging out in his booth at the Fair that evening.
We still weren’t through!
Scott and his team showed up for the Homeless March hosted by City of Hope Outreach.
We walked in the blazing sun to learn a little more about what it is like to make our way across the city without transportation while carrying our belongings.
What a week!
